2012: A New Year Begins

Today starts the beginning of what I anticipate to be another wonderful year.  It's a time to review the best parts of the previous year as well as set all those well meaning intentions for the year ahead.

So here's to what was a great 2011 filled with travel, adventure and new experiences...

A girls' trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica

The 2 hour shuttle ride to La Romana in the Dominican Republic was well worth it

ATV riding through the jungles of Maroma Beach, Mexico, was a blast

The question remains, though, what was the best part of 2011?  Discovering a way to take my passion for marine life to a new level... learning to SCUBA in Freeport & diving on various occasions after.

It was year of overcoming fears & trying to new things.

I plan for 2012 to be an extension of 2011.  Here's a few of my goals:
- Travel to new places like Aruba, Key West, Curacao & Cozumel
- Get back to my favorite places like Siesta Key & San Salvador, Bahamas
- Blog more
- Be grateful for one thing each day
- Try new recipes (like this one:  Champagne Cake Pops?  Yes, please!)
